Plugins: handing your setup to a team
One person with a good skill is a tidy afternoon. A team with the same skill is a process.
A plugin is a bundle: skills, and the supporting files they need, packaged so somebody else can install the lot in one step rather than being sent a folder and a paragraph of instructions.
Why it changes the result
- Everyone does the job the same way. The regions are spelled the same, the rows are dropped for the same reasons, the summary has the same sections.
- Improvements travel. Fix the skill once and the next run picks it up for everyone.
- New people are useful sooner. The procedure arrives with the tool rather than in a handover meeting.
What to bundle, and what not to

The middle row is not a style point. Connectors are authorised per person, and a skill should describe what to do, not carry a way in.
Before you hand it over
Run the checker from lesson 13 over every skill in the bundle, then have somebody else run the job with only the bundle and no explanation from you. Whatever they have to ask you is the part that is still in your head rather than in the files.
At a larger scale
An organisation can also provision skills centrally, so this stops being a distribution problem and becomes an administration one. Worth knowing the option exists before you build a habit of emailing zip files.
Try it yourself
- Give your skill to one colleague with no explanation and watch where they get stuck.
- Write down the questions they asked. Those are the missing lines in your skill.
